Personal Statement
My great love and respect for all living things inspires me everyday to be a better guardian of the planet.
Biography
Growing up all I ever wanted to do was to learn more about animals and to help those in trouble. This led me to pursue degrees in Biology, Animal Behavior, Biological Anthropology and Psychology. I have worked extensively in many areas of the world as a scientist, conversationalist and journalist.
After moving to Ithaca I opened Wild Things Sanctuary, a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation center, where hundreds of native animals are cared for every year until they are ready for release.
Working at Renovus is a great way that I can spread the word about alternative energy which is gentler on our planet and therefore helps all of us, great and small.
